About Us

Organization of the Diaspora for the Development of Haiti

The Organization of the Diaspora for the Development of Haiti (ODDA) is a non-governmental organization aimed at driving the development of Haiti through charitable donations and development projects. We are committed to utilizing our resources and efforts to improve the quality of life in Haitian communities and promote their sustainable growth.

 

ODDA is a dynamic and forward-thinking organization committed to rebuilding Haiti through unity, collaboration, and sustainable development. At ODDA, we firmly believe that the progress and prosperity of Haiti lie in the hands of its diaspora and the collective efforts of compassionate individuals around the world.

  

We believe that the power to bring about change to Haiti lies within Haitians, but it must start with the Haitian Diaspora. Recognizing the urgent need for sustainable development and progress, we have launched an ambitious initiative to construct 10 cities simultaneously in Haiti.

 

We firmly believe that rebuilding Haiti is not a task that can be delegated to others. It is our responsibility to take the lead and invest in our nation's future. By uniting as a diaspora and pooling our resources, we can demonstrate our commitment to Haiti's development and show the world what we, as a united force, can achieve.

Our Mission

Our mission is to mobilize the Haitian diaspora and compassionate Haitians worldwide to contribute to the socioeconomic development of Haiti. We focus on projects that address the urgent needs of the population, such as education, healthcare, infrastructure, food, security, Diaspora Local Investment, and the promotion of local entrepreneurship. Through our commitment to transparency and accountability, we seek to generate lasting and significant impact in the lives of people in Haiti.

 

Our mission is rooted in the recognition of the immense potential that Haiti possesses. We envision a Haiti that thrives economically, socially, and culturally, where every Haitian has access to quality education, healthcare, and opportunities for growth. By harnessing the power of donations, volunteerism, and partnerships, ODDA seeks to empower Haitians to rebuild their communities, one step at a time.

 

We understand the importance of engaging the Haitian diaspora, a vibrant community spread across the globe. The diaspora serves as a bridge between Haiti and the world, channeling resources, expertise, and innovation to effect lasting change. ODDA provides a platform for diaspora members to come together, share their knowledge and experiences, and contribute their time, talents, and resources to the betterment of Haiti.

Infrastructure

Our focus extends beyond physical reconstruction; we aim to establish schools, hospitals, transportation networks, and vital services that have long been lacking in our communities like clean water projects, electricity and more.

Healthcare

Healthcare is a vital pillar of our work. ODDA is committed to enhancing healthcare infrastructure, building regulated hospitals, clinics, and labs, providing medical supplies and equipment, and supporting healthcare professionals in Haiti.

Education

ODDA is dedicated to build better schools, universities, academies, colleges, and more and improving access to quality education in Haiti by providing application of knowledge, promoting literacy and critical thinking programs, and offering scholarships to bright and deserving students.

Partnerships

We work closely with like-minded organizations, governmental bodies, businesses, and individuals who share our vision for a prosperous Haiti. By leveraging collective expertise, resources, and networks, we maximize our impact and accelerate the pace of change.
